Today, students in all periods learned about Palmistry through the link on the blog. Students had to read their palms with the assistance of their partner. Students had to determine the physical aspects of their palms and what these characteristics mean about their personal palm. The students entered their findings about their head, heart and life lines in their electronic journals! Some students did not finish their journal entries and need to have this completed by next week!

We began our novel study on Thursday by looking at this blog, creating our electronic journals, and reading Chapter One!! We are off to a great start and look forward to posting our comments, questions, and ideas about The Magician's Elephant.

Ready, Set, READ!!

Beginning October 22, Ms. Wright's Language Arts classes will be participating in a novel study with me in the media center for five weeks. This blog has been set up to follow our progress as we read and study The Magician's Elephant by Kate DiCamillo. Also, I have set up the schedule we will follow each week and the documents we will use during our study.
